Abstract
Injuries to the extemal male genitalia are increased because of rising number of traffic accidents, industrial casualties and warfare.

Acquired total loss of the penis is rear of these traumatic origins and may be the result of the radical surgery for cancer, gangren, self-amputation in mental patients, punitive ablation and accidents in children while playing games.

Hence, reconstruction of the total penis is indicated in these amputated patients and in transsexual case with seeking a sex change.

According to Noe, Birdsell and Laub, the objective of any method is satisfactory cosmetically, psychologically and functionally but achievement of thess objective is a formidable task.

However, there are many surgical metnods available for reconstruction of penis.

We report a case of traumatic amputation of penis treated with abdominal tubed flap and brief review of literature.
